Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatment.
  • Position patients appropriately for radiographic procedures and perform radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
  • Develop and evaluate radiographic results for technical quality and apply learned methodologies with independent judgment.
  • Maintain infection prevention standards and prepare, clean, adjust, inspect, and maintain equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program or Associates of Applied Science degree and graduation from an Ultrasound certificate program.
  • ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire and RVT certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year general hospital experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
