Job Summary
The Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of International Studies and Political Science invites applications for a visiting instructor position. This appointment will be for a minimum of one year and up to two years, commencing on August 1, 2024.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach courses in international relations and politics at the undergraduate level.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
- Assist in the development of departmental programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Political Science or International Relations at the time of application.
- Alumnus/Alumna of the Virginia Military Institute.
- Previous selection as a Peay Fellow in Residence.
Additional Considerations
- Applicants should submit three letters of recommendation via email to the Department Head.
- Applicants should complete an online application and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and graduate transcripts.
