Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Perianesthesia at Tufts Medical Center delivers professional nursing care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, advocating for patients and their families, and contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in hospital and/or unit-based patient safety and quality activities, utilizing data trends to support and improve clinical practice.
  • Foster cooperative and collaborative relationships among healthcare disciplines and departments to ensure effective quality patient care delivery.
  • Perform as an advocate and educator for patients and families, promoting a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Specialty Nursing certifications.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
