Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform splicing and swaging for customer orders with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the installation of rigging products, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Understand and apply proper use of all equipment and tools used in the field and shop.
  • Represent the highest expression of our brand and service standards in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Drive sales through engagement with customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  • Produce quotes, orders, production, and payment for rigging products and services with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Educate store staff and customers on the services and capabilities of our rigging shop.
  • Ensure a safe and clean shop environment, protecting crew members and customers.
  • Comply with all safety rules and standards while working in the shop and the field.
  • Maintain the stability and reputation of the shop by adhering to all legal requirements.
  • Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

  • General sailing and boat knowledge with the ability to read measurements, both imperial and metric.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment.
