About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team in Schaumburg, Illinois. As a key member of our Financial Reporting team, you will play a critical role in the accurate, complete, and timely preparation of various financial reporting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete monthly/quarterly close tasks, including preparing and recording journal entries and preparing reconciliations and other supporting schedules.
  • Prepare monthly management financial statements and analyze results.
  • Prepare quarterly IFRS submissions to Group.
  • Prepare quarterly/annual statutory filings, including separate accounts.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of relevant IFRS and statutory accounting principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Big 4 experience.
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • CPA, CPCU, CFA, or CTP certification.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
