Key Responsibilities:


The Renal Care Nurse Coordinator is accountable for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This role involves providing direct patient care within the defined scope of practice.

The Registered Nurse will also oversee and guide patient and family education, as well as the activities of other nursing staff, while upholding the standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.

The Renal Care Nurse Coordinator is directly responsible for the care provided to their assigned patients.

Effective communication with physicians regarding any changes in the patient's clinical status is essential, including monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.

The nurse must be adept at responding promptly and accurately to any changes in patient condition or treatment response.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

- Current and valid state RN License.

- Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of certification.

- Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with advancements in nephrology, particularly in an inpatient setting.

- Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing, or both is highly encouraged.

- Minimum of two years of experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing.
