Construction Project Manager

At Centurion Selection LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead our mid/high-rise multifamily projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight: Serve as the primary liaison between the owner and various stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Budget Management: Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, providing regular reports and recommendations to the owner.
  3. Schedule Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion of construction activities.
  4. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold project standards and specifications, conducting site inspections and addressing any deviations from plans.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  6. Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring terms align with project goals and objectives.
  7. Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among project team members, resolving conflicts and promoting collaboration to achieve project success.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and change orders, to support project transparency and accountability.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to address concerns, provide updates, and foster positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  10. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, applying strategic thinking and resourcefulness to keep the project on track.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on GC experience.
  3. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
  4. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  7. Candidates MUST have experience working on mid/high-rise apartment projects.
  8. Experience in the Tampa market is advantageous.
