Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex repairs of furniture in customer homes, the warehouse, and in stores as assigned
  • Report product quality or trend issues to Supervisor or Lead
  • Install and order all necessary parts
  • Maintain adequate supplies, parts, and tools to perform the job
  • Maintain proper storage of chemicals and/or hazardous materials per OSHA standards
  • Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas
  • Rotate through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business
  • Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
  • Perform all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude to assemble furniture pieces
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic English Language proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in repairing furniture or/and carpentry
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Compensation

Minimum Starting Rate: $22.80 Hourly
Up to: $28.50 Hourly
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law.

In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives.
