Position Summary
We are in search of a detail-oriented and skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits, and is essential for maintaining our extensive property portfolio.


The selected candidate will oversee the daily maintenance operations of approximately 1.4 million square feet, addressing tenant requests and ensuring the upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and HVAC systems, contributing significantly to the preservation and performance of our properties.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including structural repairs such as windows, doors, and walls.
  • Manage cleanliness around the properties, including monitoring waste and bulky items.
  • Address plumbing issues to prevent water damage and coordinate with vendors as necessary.
  • Evaluate and resolve electrical problems, coordinating repairs with external contractors.
  • Oversee HVAC system repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Implement preventative measures to mitigate future maintenance issues.
  • Identify and rectify safety hazards to ensure a secure environment.
  • Maintain and repair interior finishes, including ceiling tiles and paint.
  • Track inspections and maintenance requests using Facilities Management software.
  • Engage proactively with tenants to foster a tenant-first culture.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or engineering.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and energy management.
  • Strong technical skills and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with property management software is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:
