Job Title: Senior Principal Process Integration Engineer

The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in multiple cities across the United States and abroad.

EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles, and other critical applications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to perform highly complex functions in the design, fabrication, modification, and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations.
  • Plan, conduct, and/or technically direct projects or major phases of projects.
  • Review project progress, evaluate, and communicate results to all stakeholders.
  • Analyze highly complex technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
  • Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans.
  • Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant disciplines with 10+ years progressively complex engineering experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
  • Advanced degree is desired.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD clearance as needed, which requires US Citizenship.
  • Experience in microelectronics fabrication, MEMS fabrication, microelectronics yield enhancement, and failure analysis.
  • Infrared or imaging detectors experience desired.
  • Specialties may include production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, and robotics.

This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
