Senior Fire Protection Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at Gable Search Group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire protection engineering, with a proven track record of providing consulting services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new systems, including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
  • Perform comprehensive building and fire code analysis and interpretation.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with clients, utilizing technical expertise and project management skills to meet project expectations.
  • Oversee internal projects and fulfill external client requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Conduct research and compile documentation for internal and external distribution, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Provide peer reviews of colleagues' work product to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Participate in local and national professional organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA, to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Fire Protection Engineering License obtained through examination from any state in the United States.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Fire Protection profession.
  • Willingness to travel (estimated travel percentage: 20%).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong oral presentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-functioning team environment.
