Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze new BOMs and Routers for accuracy and cost freeze.
  • Perform monthly inventory valuation and reconciliation of cost ledgers.
  • Evaluate and approve cost review requests, including operating impact analysis.
  • Lead the finance team in annual physical inventory and monthly cycle counts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and post daily manufacturing accounting entries.
  • Analyze cost and variance trends, researching significant variations and recommending appropriate responses.
  • Prepare daily operating performance analysis, including inventory movements, sales, and cost of goods sold.
  • Maintain standard adjusting journal entries with related support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in accounting or related fields.
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
