About the Role

RUSHKids is seeking a skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in Crystal Lake, IL. As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary center with fellow pediatric clinicians, including PT, OT, Speech, and ABA.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical therapy needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain open communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, and families, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
  • Participate in facility meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
  • Meet the qualifications and requirements outlined below.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration required.
  • CPR certification required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift patients using biomechanical techniques, with the capacity to lift 50 pounds dead weight alone.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach frequently throughout the workday.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate patient needs and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
