About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at Global Partners. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of food service staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement food service menus, recipes, and production plans to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP and Serv-Safe certification.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to achieve budgetary targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, including guest feedback and complaint resolution.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of food service programs and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in food service operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, food service, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing food service staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
