We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Counselor to join our team at Texas Tech University. As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a critical role in representing the university to prospective students, parents, and staff, and in achieving enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Texas Tech University at high schools, community colleges, and other recruitment events to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals.
- Coordinate and contribute to the success of various visit schedules for area high schools and community colleges.
- Plan and implement organized schedules to accomplish meeting with a full caseload of students.
- Connect newly admitted students directly to their success team, including student advocates, academic advising, and financial aid advising.
- Bachelor's degree plus one year of related experience, or a combination of education and/or related experience to equal five years.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship software, Salesforce.
- Ability to learn and utilize admissions and recruitment technology.
- Experience in admissions, sales, and territory management, as well as event planning and coordination.
