Job Summary

The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is seeking a highly skilled Transportation and Receptionist Coordinator to serve as the primary public point of contact for the SSTTP local office staff. This role provides direct assistance to participants of the Shingle Springs Tribal TANF Program, receives guests and clients of the TANF site, and offers day-to-day clerical and support services to TANF site staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Public Contact: Provide exceptional customer service to participants, guests, and clients, responding to inquiries regarding TANF procedures and services.
  2. Transportation Services: Safely and efficiently operate TANF vehicles, providing transportation assistance to Shingle Springs Tribal TANF Program participants and supporting the Site Manager.
  3. Clerical and Administrative Support: Offer day-to-day clerical and support services to TANF site staff, including mail management, scheduling, and data entry.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate ongoing communication between staff members, assist with scheduling, and work collaboratively with co-workers and other staff in a team environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Two years of experience transporting passengers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasionally on short notice in response to crisis situations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Native American preference.
  • Understanding of social and cultural needs of the native community.
  • Ability to learn and apply program policies, procedures, guidelines, and instructions.
