Job Overview

Glass Roots Construction, LLC is a pioneering fiber optic utility construction firm expanding across the US. We're seeking skilled Laborer/CDL Drivers to join our team in the Redding/Arcata area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general laborer duties and support on construction sites
  • Operate various equipment, hand and power tools
  • Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines
  • Remove, fill or compact earth
  • Signal equipment operators to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Responsible for site set-up and clean-up
  • Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
  • Participate in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
  • Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers
  • May be required to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, or be on-call as work is needed
Requirements
  • Commercial driving and/or heavy equipment operation experience (>1 year)
  • CDL A License (Required)
