Job Title: Flight Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations, working closely with our team of air transportation experts to ensure safe and efficient transportation to medical facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations.
  • Responsible for daily base checks, including narcotic counts, to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Maintain thorough patient care documentation and submit electronic patient care records within specified time frames.
  • Participate in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences to maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills.
  • Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and provide support to pilots as needed.
  • Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment.
  • Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting.
  • Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required prior to flight status.
  • Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred, required within 24 months from date of hire.
