Overview

Na Ali'i Consulting & Sales, LLC is in search of a Senior Solutions Architect to deliver comprehensive architecture design, team guidance, and intricate problem-solving in support of a significant, long-term initiative. The Senior Solutions Architect will be assigned a specific technical domain and will act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for this domain. This role involves leading a specialized team in the creation and implementation of software solutions and updates. The Architect will collaborate with the Portfolio Team to assist in managing the ART Backlog. While the Architect will be adept at resolving complex issues independently, teamwork with various Agile Teams will be a frequent aspect of the role. As a high-level SME, the Architect will also engage in discussions with senior management, including the Release Manager, Configuration Manager, System Team Manager, and Program Manager. The Senior Solutions Architect should be capable of generating well-structured reports regarding their technical area and the associated data, which will be reviewed by upper management and potentially external clients. Additionally, the Senior Solutions Architect should act as a positive mentor for junior staff, providing guidance and specialized training as necessary.

Responsibilities

The following outlines the essential functions for this position, though additional duties may be assigned as needed:

  • Lead a team of specialists to ensure uniformity in the delivery of all software solutions.
  • Participate as a member of the Portfolio Operations team responsible for the comprehensive integrated design.
  • Oversee the writing and maintenance of Epics and Features within the ART Backlog.
  • Identify User Stories and determine required configurations and customizations.
  • Deliver specialized training in PeopleSoft to Agile teams across various domains.
  • Identify foundational data requirements, ensuring necessary backlog items are in place to support design.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the assigned technical domain.
  • Ensure teams adhere to technical standards in design and development.
  • Possess SME-level knowledge of relevant concepts and principles.
Qualifications

Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience within relevant sectors is preferred.

Skills/Qualifications: Certifications in PeopleSoft and Agile or SAFe for Teams are preferred.

Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must be able to meet the following physical demands of the role with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk while working on a computer.
