Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide age-appropriate therapeutic interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and document progress made and continuing need for treatment.
  • Provide patient and family education on tasks and resources that will assist with continued functional independence.
  • Participate in team business meetings and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement.
  • Function as a resource for and provide team members with in-service/cross-training on occupational therapy knowledge and skill areas.
  • Contribute to the development of improved efficiency and productivity of program clinical/administrative functions.
  • Participate in program quality management activities, including quality review data collection and survey preparation.
  • Participate in program safety activities and contribute to the delivery of cost-effective care.
  • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities and contribute to client relations and marketing activities.
  • Maintain licenses/certifications and memberships in applicable professional organizations.

Requirements:

  • Lymphedema and pelvic floor specialization.
  • Current OT license.
  • Willingness to relocate to Hartsville, SC or close by.
