Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical generating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including digital and analog control systems, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including oil circuit breakers, generator complexes, and instrument transformers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance records and equipment specifications.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent.
  • IBEW local 57 examination certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with high voltage systems and electrical distribution.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
