- Trainee Level 1 Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in disciplines related to environmental science or equivalent coursework.
- Trainee Level 2 Advanced Placement Qualifications: This includes the qualifications of Trainee Level 1, in addition to one year of professional experience in environmental analysis or a master's degree in a relevant field.
- Journey Level Qualifications: Requires advanced placement qualifications or a relevant master's degree alongside professional experience. Participation in environmental impact assessments is a crucial aspect of this role.
- Professional Experience: Candidates should have experience in preparing and reviewing environmental impact assessments and providing guidance on environmental laws and regulations.
- Trainee Level 2 Qualifications: A bachelor's degree combined with one year of professional experience or a relevant master's degree.
- Journey Level Qualifications: A bachelor's degree with two years of professional experience or a relevant master's degree plus one year of professional experience.
Under the supervision of an Environmental Specialist 2, the Environmental Analyst will conduct analyses and research on environmental matters impacting the State's transportation infrastructure, offering technical expertise in various assignments related to the environmental implications of transportation initiatives.
