Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Body Maintenance Risk Assessor. This role involves evaluating risks and determining appropriate pricing for submissions related to personal care services, including massage therapy, tattoo artistry, body piercing, nail salons, and fitness centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess individual risk profiles for businesses in the personal care sector, including massage, tattoo, piercing, nail, hair, and gym services.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for junior underwriters, other departments, and agents.
  • Effectively communicate underwriting guidelines and strategies to agents.
  • Foster new agency partnerships while maintaining relationships with existing agents.
  • Support management in the development and enhancement of insurance forms.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Excess - Umbrella, Excess & Surplus, Commercial, or similar insurance underwriting.
  • Professional designations such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management, or Associate in Commercial Underwriting are preferred.
