  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, gathering necessary patient history and formulating appropriate anesthetic plans.
  • Communicate the risks, benefits, and alternatives of anesthesia to patients effectively.
  • Prepare the patient and operating environment for anesthesia administration.
  • Administer various forms of anesthesia while continuously monitoring patient responses.
  • Manage post-anesthetic recovery to enhance patient comfort and minimize pain.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of anesthetic records and services provided.
  • Stay updated with advancements in anesthesia practices, working collaboratively to enhance patient care.
  • Integrate technology and skills to improve anesthesia techniques and patient outcomes.
  • Address complex anesthesia challenges using innovative approaches.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate airway management and resuscitation techniques.
  • Document relevant patient data in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related discipline.
  • Graduate from an accredited anesthesia program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is required.
  • Possess a current, unrestricted nursing license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed, board-certified CRNA, with recent continuous practice.
  • Experience in administering and monitoring various anesthesia types for surgical procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage anesthesia for diverse surgical cases and adapt techniques as necessary.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge of anesthesia methods and practices.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work specified shifts and be available for on-call duties.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
