Acquisition Professional

The Swift Group is currently in search of an Acquisition Professional to enhance their operational capabilities.

Overview:
The Acquisition Professional will play a crucial role in supporting program management and facilitating the evaluation and enhancement of acquisition management strategies, policies, and systems. This position requires expertise in understanding the elements that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk management. The individual will also provide essential guidance in the interpretation and customization of acquisition regulations, ensuring the effective delivery of systems to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support program managers with documentation, schedule development, status monitoring, risk evaluation, and the management of integrated product teams.
  • Advise on the interpretation of Department of Defense acquisition regulations to ensure effective system delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contracting personnel to ensure comprehensive documentation.
  • Assist in the creation of program and acquisition documentation, schedule management, status tracking, alternative evaluations, and product team management.
  • Implement established acquisition and financial management policies and procedures.
  • Aid in identifying and gathering Minimum Acquisition Requirements.
  • Contribute to the compliance review of acquisition documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of fifteen years of experience in DoD acquisition management, program management, or contract management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant acquisition field and professional certification from a recognized institution.
  • Additional certifications such as DAWIA III or PMP are advantageous.
  • Experience with FACTS is preferred.

Security Clearance:

  • Must possess a current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph.
