  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for exams by obtaining and documenting vital signs, past medical history, social history, and chief complaint.
  • Clinical Tasks: Perform various clinical tasks within the scope of your certification and under the supervision of the physician, including phlebotomy, administering vaccines, and completing required documentation.
  • Administrative Support: Screen and direct patient calls according to established protocol, contact patients regarding prescriptions and testing results as directed by the physician, and perform front desk duties as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Perform daily regulatory testing as required and document accordingly to ensure that clinical equipment is accurate and compliant.
  • Supply Management: Maintain a par level of clinical supplies for the facility.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of similar job experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certifications: Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant and BLS Certification required.
