Job Summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Transportation Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer truck to deliver finished goods to our distribution centers and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Finished Goods: Safely transport finished goods to assigned destinations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Ensure Load Safety: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and the load is properly secured.
  • Maintain DOT Compliance: Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, and other required documentation to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Regular Attendance: Maintain regular and reliable attendance, adhering to our company's attendance policy.
Requirements
  • Age: 21 years or older
  • DOT Physical and Road Test: Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination and road test
  • CDL License: Hold a valid CDL Class A license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
  • DOT Regulations: Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tractor-Trailer Experience: 1+ year of experience operating a tractor-trailer truck, including experience with CDL Class A license
  • Consumer Products Experience: Experience hauling consumer products and perishable goods
  • Regional Driving Experience: Experience driving in various conditions, including highway driving, side/local roads, and city/country driving
