The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Supervised Visitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise visits between children and their family members in a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist other staff members in the supervision of family visits, ensuring a seamless and effective service delivery.
- Document case notes and maintain accurate records of all completed assignments in our electronic system.
- Assist with transporting clients to appointments, as needed, and provide support to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Complete visitation reports, which become part of the client file, and contribute to the development of a comprehensive understanding of each family's needs.
- High School Diploma with some college education preferred.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in using electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, employees, managers, and the public.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the local area and community resources, with the ability to provide informed support and guidance.
- Ability to set appropriate limits and boundaries with clients, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
