Job Summary:The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated APP Psychiatry and Mental Health Fellow to join our team at SARGEANT HEALTH CENTER. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to underserved populations in a community-based setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide specialty health care services within defined scope of practice in collaboration with a licensed psychiatrist and in accordance with MCW/FMLH policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of patients with complex mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in didactic experiences and mentored clinical rotations to develop proficient clinical decision-making skills.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and materials to support the training of APPs in psychiatry and mental health.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or psychology.
- Current licensure or certification as an APP in good standing.
- Experience working with underserved populations and in community-based settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
