Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cost Accounting Manager to oversee our cost accounting functions. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cost accounting processes, ensuring precise reporting of production costs.
  • Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and standard costing across multiple facilities.
  • Lead annual updates to standard costs in collaboration with various departments.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and reconciliations of cost variances.
  • Implement and maintain perpetual inventory systems across all locations.
  • Facilitate monthly closing processes and contribute to budgeting efforts.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of inventory.
  • Deliver timely financial information, including product cost analysis.
  • Collaborate with plant managers to analyze manufacturing processes for improved decision-making.
  • Maintain the integrity of accounting systems and perform account analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and communicate financial information effectively.
  • Proficient in relevant accounting software and systems.
