Salary and Benefits
We offer competitive compensation based on geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses (where applicable). In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses.
Job Description
The Lead Care Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services to our residents. As the lead to a group of Care Managers, you will be responsible for:
- Providing supervisory support by taking attendance, managing call-offs/no shows, sending open shift messages, and responding to shift requests
- Supporting team members in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services in accordance with individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
- Encouraging personalized and meaningful resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs
- Assisting with meal service and coaching team members on hospitality standards during meal service
- Accurately documenting care and services provided to residents
- Ensuring compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies
- Displaying flexibility in work schedule and working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary
- Preparing for shifts by obtaining resident group assignments and handing out daily assignment sheets to team members
- Participating in crossover meetings and carrying a resident group assignment on overnight shifts
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A High School diploma or GED (may be required per state regulations)
- Ability to read, write, communicate effectively with Care Managers, Community Managers, residents, and family members
- In states where applicable, maintaining relevant certifications
- Medication Management Certificate required
- Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors
- Demonstrated leadership competencies, including delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
