Senior Quality Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our commercial construction projects. About SGS, LLC
SGS, LLC is a professional construction services firm offering General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design-Build services to Government, Corporate, and Private Clients. With a strong presence in the Central United States, we deliver top-notch solutions through our in-house staff of DBIA professionals, LEED experts, certified schedulers, and support staff.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects and hold a current USACE Construction Quality Management Certification. A four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with OSHA 30-Hour and CPR/First Aid certifications. Familiarity with EM 385 1-1, 2014 version requirements is essential, as is knowledge of Primavera project schedules and USACE RMS software. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, be deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
* Involved in all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation* Management/Enforcement of SGS's Quality Control Program* Implementation of SGS's Comprehensive Quality Control Inspection System* Review/Approval of shop drawings, submittals* Generating and follow-through with RFI's, directives, change notices, etc.* Participate in regular progress/coordination meetings* Project Close-out procedures* Develop/Maintain As-built documents* Support Scheduling and Coordination of Subcontractors* Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, etc.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
