About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with Sentara Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Our Cardiac IMCU unit is seeking an experienced nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
• Assess and admit patients to the Cardiac IMCU unit
• Perform rounding checks to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams
• Provide overall patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN, or MSN from an accredited school
