About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team at Jay's Coffee & Cuisine. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Restaurant Operations: Manage the day-to-day back-of-house and front-of-house operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff to maintain high standards.
  • Menu Development: Create and implement menus that are on-trend and innovative while meeting the customers' needs, ensuring all food products are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring sufficient stock levels of all necessary items.
  • Financial Management: Monitor sales, costs, and expenses to maximize profits and meet financial goals, managing the point of sale system and cash handling procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction, ensuring seamless collaboration between the front-of-house and kitchen staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve targets and maintain high standards.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques and equipment, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, strong organizational and time management skills.
