Position Overview:

The Mission Integration Specialist will oversee various facets of client coordination and execution of essential support, training, deliveries, and mission solutions. This role serves as a bridge between the product team and the end-users, ensuring a high level of support while shaping the future of the capabilities we provide.

Specific expertise in customer missions, methodologies, technologies, security, and organizations is essential for this role. The Mission Integration Specialist will collaborate closely with our product team, which includes cybersecurity engineers, hardware/software developers, infrastructure specialists, and other operational technologists.

Additionally, the Mission Integration Specialist will assist in testing our solutions through quality assurance processes, evaluating technologies, supporting integration with other systems, and collaborating with clients to facilitate their testing and evaluation efforts for our solutions. This role presents an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, mission-focused team delivering unique and critical capabilities to our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with hardware and software challenges, including after-hours on-call support
  • Provide real-world testing support and feedback to development staff on product pre-release candidates to ensure mission readiness
  • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum for our technical solutions to ensure successful mission integration
  • Manage client deliveries – including ordering, kitting, tracking, configuring, and shipping
  • Gather constructive feedback from end-users, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance training, product integration, and solution effectiveness
  • Investigate and relay feedback to the product/solution team regarding system performance, issues, and client experiences
  • Document requirements, track actions, and manage expectations effectively
  • Identify and cultivate growth opportunities through discussions, presentations, and written communications
  • Draft technical guidance documents and technical memorandums
  • Monitor commercial and industry trends that may influence our products, solutions, and technologies
  • Proactively communicate with team members, management, and other stakeholders
    Maintain a comprehensive security mindset
    Represent BlueHalo values while enhancing and improving our clients' mission capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of U.S. military experience, or equivalent experience and knowledge
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the SOF Enterprise
  • Familiarity with SOCOM's technological solutions and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of technical operations, computer network operations, technology deployments in high-threat environments, secure communication practices, and/or digital forensics
  • Frequent domestic travel with limited international travel
  • Strong motivation to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Willingness to support end-users, including after-hours on-call support
  • A security-oriented approach to all engineering and administrative efforts
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and comfort in addressing groups
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex technology, cyber, and communications concepts into mission impact
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and technical documentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a critical thinking mindset
  • A passion for training others and the ability to make training engaging, relevant, and inspiring
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Current TOP SECRET clearance, with the ability to upgrade to client-specific clearance requirements
