Orthopedic Surgery - Sports Medicine

Benefis Medical Group, a prominent trauma and regional tertiary referral center, is in search of an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine to enhance our committed team of orthopedic professionals.

Position Overview

  • Excellent opportunity to establish a thriving sports medicine practice within a well-established orthopedic team comprising specialists in trauma, general orthopedics, total joint revisions, hand surgery, shoulder surgery, and mid-level support, alongside neurosurgical spine expertise.
  • Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, featuring shared on-call responsibilities and dedicated operating room time.
  • Access to comprehensive resources, including occupational therapy services within the clinic, alongside extensive therapy options available in the facility and a same-day orthopedic injury center integrated with the practice.
  • Facilities include 10 main operating rooms, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, 2 Da Vinci robots equipped with O-arm and Hana table, and ROSA robotic assistance.
  • A 33-bed emergency department featuring 3 spacious trauma bays, 24/7 CT scan services, and 2 dedicated board-certified emergency medicine physicians available at all times.
  • In-house air ambulance services with both fixed-wing and rotor-wing capabilities for patient transport.
  • Dedicated intensivists available 24/7 in a 21-bed mixed ICU.
  • A robust hospitalist team, including swing and night shift admitters.
