Survey and Positioning Team Member

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the survey standards during offshore operations. This includes setting up and operating the survey equipment, logging, QC and backing up of data. You will also assist the Senior Surveyor or Party Chief with instructions and be supervised during a shift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and testing online navigation and data logging systems under supervision
- Assisting in the calibration process of survey sensors
- Supervising the daily operation of on-line systems
- Quality controlling positioning systems/sensors and logged data
- Maintaining survey quality records (including daily logbook)
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., surveying, engineering)
- Experience in offshore operations and surveying
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
