Job Summary

Catholic Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Vein and Vascular Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective surgical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate each patient's medical status and direct professional care decisions for cost-effective, quality care.
  • Diagnose and treat patients consistent with applicable medical standards and policies.
  • Foster a strong group practice environment with a focus on collaborative comprehensive patient care.
  • Act as an informational surgical resource to other healthcare disciplines and academic institutions.
  • Communicate regularly with the Medical Director of The Surgical Care Group and the Vice President of PPASP to ensure quality care and optimal patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
  • Doctor of Medicine required.
  • Board certified in surgery or successful completion of surgical Boards within two years.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected situations. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively and establish a cooperative, collaborative working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. A strong commitment to quality patient care and a willingness to participate in continuous quality improvement strategies are essential.
