Vascular Center ARRT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ARRT Scrub Tech to join our team at California Foot & Ankle Centers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting Interventional Radiologists during procedures and providing a high level of efficient patient care.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting, with a strong background in radiography and a proven track record of providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, have strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to maintain strict confidentiality as required.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards as the facility RSO.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Supply inventory tracking and management.
- Ensure mandatory clinical guidelines for keeping a high standard of care in our angio-suite involving proper disposal of contaminated products and proper sanitization of the operating suite.
- EMR knowledge (ECW) a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting.
- Experienced in diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions.
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care.
- Basic working knowledge of managed care and Medicare population.
- Procedural experience; preferably assisting Interventional Radiologists.
- Skilled in surgical techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands, handle documents, bend and stoop as needed, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires use of keyboard and computer regularly. Strong vision abilities to perform extensive computer-related work.
