Warehouse Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Breakthru Beverage Group's warehouse. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the floors.
  • Empty trash and garbage containers and sanitize and disinfect high-touch areas.
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and stocked with paper products and soap.
  • Notify management of any major repairs or additions needed to plumbing, lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Collect excess cardboard and prepare it for recycling.
  • Assist in moving furniture and other equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required, but ability to multi-task and work independently is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance services.
  • Knowledge of chemicals and supplies.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Competencies:

  • Accountable for meeting own targets and work is reviewed periodically.
  • Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
