Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision to a team of early childhood educators, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all children.
  • Develop and implement research-based curricula, lesson plans, and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services, including home visits, education conferences, and standardized assessments.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to equity, inclusivity, and continuous learning and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry developments to ensure compliance and excellence in our programs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) or comparable credential with a focus on infant and toddler development.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in early childhood care and education.
  • Ability to operate in an organized, detail-oriented manner while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including children, families, and colleagues.
