Position Overview: The Installation Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the installation department's daily functions. Responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, scheduling installations, conducting pre-construction assessments, and coordinating training for third-party installers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Installation Manager in daily operational tasks, including job scheduling and inventory management.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of independent installation partners.
- Collaborate with the Installation Manager to ensure timely completion of installation schedules.
- Accurately input job orders into our operational systems for effective scheduling and inventory tracking.
- Manage product orders based on installation specifications to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Work closely with administrative staff to ensure smooth job flow from scheduling to completion.
- Handle administrative tasks such as creating job packets and resolving funding issues.
- Provide on-site assistance to installation partners as needed.
- Partner with Service and Sales teams to proactively address and resolve customer concerns.
- Collaborate with the Field Trainer to assess installer performance and capabilities.
- Engage with various corporate teams to achieve regional and office objectives.
- May involve loading and unloading materials and ensuring proper delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at job sites.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in home improvement or residential installations.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficient task completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in skilled trades such as plumbing or carpentry.
- Leadership experience.
