ABA Therapist

Job Description:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism and related developmental disorders.

About the Role:

• Implement behavior intervention plans, individualized treatment plans, and collect data to monitor progress in collaboration with the BCBA team.
• Provide direct ABA therapy utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training as outlined in client protocols.
• Record accurate data and provide regular feedback on client progress to the BCBA team.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, caregivers, and other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials, conducting initial assessments and FBAs to identify target behaviors and develop BIPs.
• Collaborate with BCBA, caregivers, and other team members regarding client progress and goals.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current RBT certification from the BACB.
• High school diploma; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.
• Experience with online data collection programs preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA.
• Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run, or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes.

Salary:$40,000 - $55,000 per year

Estimated Salary Range:$42,000 - $50,000 per year, based on location and experience.
