Staff Development Coordinator

At CMP, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator - RN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement staff development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
- Act as a personnel health nurse, providing medical guidance and support to our employees.
- Provide orientation and training to new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular training sessions on blood-borne pathogens, hazard communication standards, and other relevant topics.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Management Team to review incident reports and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with in-service training and continuing education programs for our staff.
Requirements:
- Current, valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Five years of nursing experience in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatric nursing.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care and make decisions regarding patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- CPR certification and ability to supervise nursing staff.
