Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs, working closely with physicians and nursing personnel.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.
  • Comply with principles of sterile technique and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to cath lab calls, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program (preferred).
  • ARRT (RT) (R) or ARRT CI/CV/VI or Registered Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required, with ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab tech role, with on-call experience and ability to respond to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.
