Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Support Team at Mission Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
  • Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe environment by ensuring patient rooms are clean and organized, and that equipment is functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
  • Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
