Role Summary: This position is accountable for managing the Financial Operations encompassing Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Payroll functions at Concrete Ready Mix, Inc. This includes the recruitment and development of office personnel.

The Accounts Receivable function typically involves financial recordkeeping, the preparation of monthly accounting entries, reconciliation of accounts, support in monitoring and reporting on capital projects and fixed asset transactions, assistance with the monthly inventory closing process, analysis of accounts related to the monthly financial closing, preparation of schedules for quarterly and annual audits, and management of billing and invoicing for receivables.

The Collections aspect includes managing debt recovery, processing liens and pre-liens, and facilitating communication with the accounts payable department.

The Payroll responsibilities encompass employee relations, administration of employee benefit programs, maintaining comprehensive transaction records, and overseeing payroll services, which include management of vacation, sick leave, workers' compensation, and retirement plans.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Solid mathematical abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
  • Availability to work 5 days a week, totaling 40 hours.
