Quality Assurance Manager

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality and maintenance of our operations on the THIRD shift. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of quality assurance principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Manage the overall sanitation of the facility and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Review records and release final products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Set QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are met.
Maintain awareness of business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
Assess product specifications and compare them with customer requirements.
Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
Set standards and establish quality methods for staff to apply.
Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a proven track record of success in a high-speed manufacturing environment. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
