About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and evaluating the respiratory needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and monitor respiratory care modalities, including oxygen therapy and ventilation
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and make adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee
  • Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree
