About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team at Community Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and preparing instruments, equipment, medications, and supplies for each case.
  • Establishing and maintaining a sterile field and surgical aseptic technique.
  • Assisting in transporting and preparing patients for surgical procedures.
  • Performing first scrub functions and procedures in the majority of surgical procedures performed at the facility.
  • Assisting the surgeon and surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, medications, and/or supplies as appropriate.
